Seven plugins · one drum kit
Visioääni Drum BundleThe whole kit.
All seven plugins. Each drum gets its own complete channel, and together they cancel hi-hat bleed, line up the phase of the kit and duck the cymbals on the hits, with no routing to set up.
How the plugins connect
The links run inside the host process. No sidechain cables, no busses to create.
| Link | From | To | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Satellite | Hihat + Cymbal | Snare, Snare Bottom, Kick, Tom | The hi-hat close mic is the reference; the receivers subtract the hi-hat from their own mics. |
| Sync | Snare (the hub) | Kick, Snare Bottom, Tom, Hihat + Cymbal, Overhead | Each follower measures its delay against the snare and moves into line. |
| Duck | Snare and Kick | Overhead, Hihat + Cymbal | Cymbals dip briefly on snare and kick hits without sidechain routing. |
| BD Thru | Kick | Drum Bus | The kick's feed can bypass the bus compressor. |
Why one plugin per drum
A drum channel usually ends up as a chain of general-purpose tools, each set up from scratch. These start from the drum.
| Channel | The usual chain | Visioääni |
|---|---|---|
| Kick | EQ, a sample layer for the click, a compressor, then line up the phase. | Kick. Texas cut and a click from your own kick. Nothing to line up. |
| Snare top | EQ, transient shaper, compressor, reverb send, parallel bus. Five windows, five sets of decisions. | Snare. Florida, Crack, Dynamite, Room and Slam in one panel, level-matched. |
| Snare bottom | Flip polarity, high-pass, gate, EQ, saturation. Often skipped. | Snare Bottom. Already flipped and high-passed. Sizzle, Glue, gate, Tube. |
| Toms | A separate EQ curve and gate for every tom, nudged by ear. | Tom. Pick Rack 1, Rack 2 or Floor. The trough and the stick move with it. |
| Hats and cymbals | EQ, a resonance suppressor, then live with the hi-hat in every other mic. | Hihat + Cymbal. Nevada, Harsh, and a Satellite that lets the other mics drop the hi-hat. |
| Overheads | High-pass, several EQ bands, a compressor and a dynamic EQ for the harshness. | Overhead. Coast-to-coast EQ map, Kansas compression, dynamic Harsh and Wash. |
| Phase | Zoom in, nudge each track by hand, hope the render matches. | Sync. Automatic, saved with the project. |
| Drum bus | Bus compressor, sidechain high-pass so the kick does not pump it, EQ, a limiter. | Drum Bus. Detector above 80 Hz, Tame, Loud and Mono Low built in. |
In the bundle
Visioääni Kick
Texas-size cut from the muddy area, a beater click built from your own kick, sub that hits and a room that leaves the low end dry.
Texas cut · real click Details
Visioääni Snare
Florida removes the cardboard without dropping your level. Tune builds the body at the drum's own note, Crack and Air put the top on, and a chamber sits behind it.
Florida shaper · chamber Details
Visioääni Snare Bottom
Already flipped, already cleaned under 500 Hz. Air and Sizzle bring the wires forward, Glue holds them there and a level-aware gate keeps the bleed out.
Wires forward · tube Details
Visioääni Tom
Pick Rack 1, Rack 2 or Floor and the tuning, the trough and the stick all move with it. Nevada takes out the mud above the note and leaves the note alone.
Rack · Rack · Floor Details
Visioääni Hihat + Cymbal
Shimmer without the shards. Nevada pulls down the narrow resonances that make a cheaper cymbal shrill, and Satellite lets the other mics remove the hi-hat.
Nevada · Satellite Details
Visioääni Overhead
The whole kit as one picture with the cymbals tamed. A west-to-east EQ map, Kansas compression in the middle and a Duck that hears the snare and kick.
Coast to coast Details
Visioääni Drum Bus
Glue that leaves the sub alone. Floor at 30 Hz, Soft, Hard or Brit squash, Tame for the 4 kHz pile-up, Loud for level without the squash, and Mono Low.
No-pump glue · Loud Details
